This year marked the 31-year-old Belgian rider\u2019s 12th consecutive appearance at the legendary freeride event. But even with over a decade of experience, nothing could have prepared him for the intense highs and lows of this year\u2019s competition. It all started with a disastrous first run: Tommy took a tumble, and his GT Fury decided to finish the ride without him, tumbling off a cliff and coming to rest at the base of the mountain. Since Tommy hadn\u2019t spend any time on his backup bike to dial it in for competition, he had no choice but to haul the Fury back up for his second run. But before that came hours of waiting. How do you pass that time? Overthink? Zone out? His second run was a masterclass in resilience and focus, earning him an impressive 85.83 points and a well-deserved sixth-place finish. That result not only redeemed the day but also secured his spot at the 2025 Rampage event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tommy wasn\u2019t navigating this wild journey alone. Along for the ride in Utah were his tight-knit crew: Jules Langeard, plus Louis Reboul and Paul Couderc.
