In recent months, mountain bike fans may have noticed a mysterious Cast logo on the components of numerous well-known riders across a variety of gravity disciplines. Cast, an independent brand founded by an international team of passionate riders, engineers and designers is excited to launch its debut product line to the public in January 2025, with more to come in the following months. Products will be available in North America and Europe on <\/strong>castmtb.eu<\/strong><\/a> and <\/strong>castmtb.com<\/strong><\/a>  and at selected dealers.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Formed by a dedicated team of some of the world’s best gravity athletes, engineers, and designers, Cast is committed to fairness in the biking industry and creating exceptional products tailored for gravity-based disciplines. Cast has spent the last three years designing innovative tires and components with renowned athletes and teams such as Greg Minnaar, Danny Macaskill, Fabio Wibmer, Gracey Hemstreet, Kriss Kyle, Greg Callaghan, Caleb Holonko and Norco Race Division. The athletes play a pivotal role in testing and refining components, ensuring they operate at the highest level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cast is also proud to announce its partnership with Pirelli Tyre SPA. This collaboration provides Cast’s in-house engineering team with access to the latest advancements in rubber and tire technology, enabling the development of high-performance Downhill and Enduro tires. Cast believes that the current business model in MTB, as in so many industries, results in the lion’s share of revenue going to enormous resellers who have no specific interest in the industry. We’re trying to change this with Cast by making it the brand’s mission to support MTB culture, and giving back to the MTB community by supporting industry retailers, bike brands, and bike destinations.

Our goal is to create a community \u2013 a Cast \u2013 of riders from all disciplines, backgrounds, and abilities, united by the sense of belonging and camaraderie we all feel when riding bikes. We aim to offer unique content and experiences while producing the highest quality, performance-driven products through our partnerships with athletes and close collaboration with industry-leaders such as Pirelli. The Cast project will give athletes more skin in the game and voices at the table as we look to support the culture and grow the sport. At Norco Factory Racing, we want a cockpit that can be set up in a quantifiable, repeatable way. The pre-launch event on December 14th at Probikeshop, Lyon, gave attendees a unique opportunity to meet Cast’s athletes and get an exclusive preview of the products. Now, Cast launches to the broader mountain bike community and will allow everyone to participate into this passion driven, exciting new project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cast’s debut product range includes signature products co-designed with legends in multiple riding niches and industry fields, which have been brought to fruition by Cast’s experienced engineering and product development team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
