The final day of Crankworx Whistler 2025 concluded in spectacular fashion as Red Bull Joyride once again transformed the Boneyard into the world stage for Slopestyle mountain biking. Under prime conditions, the world’s best athletes showcased their skills on the masterpiece sculpted by the Joyride trail crew, delivering runs that will go down in history. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Crankworx Whistler 2025: Red Bull Joyride<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Swedish superstar Emil Johansson made a triumphant return to the Crankworx FMBA Slopestyle World Championship (SWC) podium after battling through four surgeries in recent years, most recently following a crash at Crankworx Cairns. With resilience and determination, Johansson put down a flawless first run that earned 91 points, securing his first Red Bull Joyride victory since 2023. The win adds to his record as the most decorated SWC athlete of all time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

His victory also meant that French rider Tim Bringer, winner of the last two SWC stops this season, was denied the chance to clinch the prestigious Triple Crown of Slopestyle. After crashing in his opening run, Bringer came back strong with a second run that scored 88.65 points, placing him second. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rounding out the podium, German crowd-favourite Erik Fedko returned to the SWC top three for the first time since 2022. His stylish first run impressed judges, earning 85.9 points despite struggling with speed on one of the course’s features. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Defending Triple Crown winner and reigning Slopestyle World Champion David Godziek narrowly missed the podium, finishing fourth. Just behind him by less than half a point was rising German talent Tobey Miley, who earned his start in Whistler with a wildcard from the Crankworx Summer Series SilverStar. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alma Does It Again <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

History repeated itself as Swedish rider Alma Wiggberg, the first-ever female winner of Red Bull Joyride in 2024, defended her title with authority. Delivering an outstanding run, she scored 91.4 points, taking the win and securing enough points to be crowned the 2025 Slopestyle World Champion. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

New Zealand’s Robin Goomes improved on her second run to claim silver with 81.4 points, a result that also earned her second place in the overall SWC standings. Last year’s World Champion, Shealen Reno, was unable to better her first attempt, finishing third with 70.8 points. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Though absent from today’s start list, Patricia Druwen concluded the season in third place overall in the Crankworx FMBA Slopestyle World Championship standings. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two decades since its inception, the festival continues to unite athletes, industry, media, and fans for the biggest celebration of the sport. Overcoming challenging weather in the past few days, Crankworx Whistler 2025 ends on a high note with Red Bull Joyride, before concluding with the Outdoor Research Ultimate Pump Track Challenge presented by RockShox later in the day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
