Stunning new trick combos landed by the likes of Erik Fedko (GER), Diego Solans Beraud (ESP), Chance Moore (CAN), Dawid Godziek (POL) and Kurtis Downs (USA) rewrote the rules of freestyle mountain biking in a monumental session that will be remembered for years to come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/43ride.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/swatchninesmtb-2025-solden-jonnyclarke-chancemoore.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-45858\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Chance Moore \/ photo: Jonny Clarke<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Swatch Nines MTB 2025<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Over a ten-day period from September 4\u201313, 2025, the invited riders set new standards for trick technicality and creativity. Beginning with a Big Air session at Green Hill Bikepark in Germany, the action continued at Bike Republic S\u00f6lden in the Austrian Alps, where an even larger setup\u2014complete with intertwining full freeride and slopestyle lines as well as a skatepark\u2014awaited the crew.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/43ride.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/swatchninesmtb-2025-solden-ethanstone-ekipa.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-45853\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Diego Solans Beraud, Justus Imhorst, Justus Rudolph \/ photo: Ethan Stone<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Green Hill session: three days of groundbreaking trickery<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Big Air setup at Germany&#8217;s Green Hill Bikepark was designed to help riders push their air tricks to new heights. With half a dozen brand-new trick combinations landed in the first hour of riding alone, it fulfilled its purpose and then some.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On September 4, Germany&#8217;s Erik Fedko landed a Double Backflip Nohander to Barspin, while Chance Moore of Canada delivered a Backflip Whip 360\u2014both world&#8217;s first achievements. American Kurtis Downs arrived with a literal trick list in hand and quickly set about crossing off items. Among an incredible 15 never-before-seen tricks on a mountain bike, Downs&#8217; highlight of the week was a Backflip SuperIndy Air to Heelclicker to Superman\u2014a bewildering combination of three different in-air maneuvers, all performed while upside down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/43ride.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/swatchninesmtb-2025-solden-jonnyclarke-lennoxzimmermann.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-45860\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Lennox Zimmermann \/ photo: Jonny Clarke<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After two days in which the mountain bike trick book was thoroughly rewritten, the session at Green Hill ended with a public viewing day on Saturday, September 6, as over a thousand enthusiastic MTB fans packed the slope alongside the setup to watch the action in person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\"><blockquote><p>It was absolutely mind-blowing. The energy was insane. Everyone had certain goals, and we just fed off of one&nbsp;another. Dawid Godziek of Poland landed a Cashroll Windshield Wiper, while Sweden&#8217;s Alma Wiggberg landed a Backflip Barspin to One Foot Can.
