Way back in February he bagged the win at the Oceania Championships, before turning his attention to Crankworx Rotorua and winning that too.<\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/43ride.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2018\/05\/sam-blenkinsop-2018-rainraw-1.jpg\" alt=\"Sam Blenkinsop - Rainraw\" title=\"Sam Blenkinsop - Rainraw\" width=\"1050\" \/><\/center> <\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">To carry on that great form, Sam Blenkinsop headed to San Romolo a few weeks before the first Downhill World Cup in Lo\u0161inj \u2013 to tune up and maybe even enjoy some Italian winter sun.<\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/43ride.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2018\/05\/sam-blenkinsop-2018-rainraw-2.jpg\" alt=\"Sam Blenkinsop - Rainraw\" title=\"Sam Blenkinsop - Rainraw\" width=\"1050\" \/><\/center> <\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">What he found instead were huge rain clouds, slippery rocks and massive amounts of mud. We followed him to check out his drenched and dramatic training sessions.
