With a 12% increase in ticket sales between June and October 2021 compared to 2020, the BIKE REPUBLIC S\u00d6LDEN celebrates its most successful summer to date \u2013 and demonstrates the growing popularity of mountain biking with guests and locals alike. In the flow nation, the riders can spread out wide in the midst of the jaw-dropping alpine scenery with a network of 11 perfectly shaped and maintained LINES and 17 natural trails as well as 2 pump tracks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" src=\"https:\/\/43ride.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2021\/10\/bikerepublicsolden-2021-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7467\"\/><figcaption>Photo: Rudi Wyhlidal<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The\u00a0<strong>BIKE REPUBLIC S\u00d6LDEN<\/strong>\u00a0started in 2015 with the objective to create a home for mountain bikers of all skill levels. Seven years on, it has grown to become one of the leading bike destinations worldwide. This shows in the continuous increase of ticket sales, with another record-breaking season in 2021: a total of 232.300 lift rides amounted to a plus of 12% \u2013 with mountain biking making up 30%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" src=\"https:\/\/43ride.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2021\/10\/bikerepublicsolden-2021-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7468\"\/><figcaption>Photo: Janik Steiner<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>We had an incredible season. We were so busy despite the decrease in global travel and events, despite the rather difficult weather conditions and all the insecurities. The demand was high even in autumn. On the final weekend (01\u201303 October), the date of the REPUBLIC&#8217;s legendary national holiday, S\u00f6lden counted more than 6.250 lift rides!\u00a0I think exemplary for this summer was our first bike parade which we held on our final Saturday. More than 200 mountain bikers were rolling through S\u00f6lden \u2013 riders of all ages on all sorts of bicycles, guests as well as locals. Founded in 2015 as one of the most ambitious and unique bike projects in the Alps, it now boasts 16 natural trails, 14 well-maintained, sustainably built lines, signposted enduro routes \u2013 and the best citizens in the world. Why a nation for bikers? Because the BIKE REPUBLIC S\u00d6LDEN is not only a sensational bike area but also a comprehensive bike culture from the valley to the mountain, where everyone should feel at home, and everyone is welcome: whether a trail beginner or enduro pro, touring rider or freerider. It doesn&#8217;t matter where you come from, what you look like, or how you ride. Riders rule \u2013 in terms of diversity, hospitality, and sustainability. While muscle power and e-support are required on the quiet side, the pulsating side offers perfect lift support with the Gaislachkoglbahn, Langeggbahn, Giggijochbahn, Hochs\u00f6lden-Rotkoglbahn, and the Zentrum Shuttle.
