How light?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

36.9lbs (sub-17kg), with 132mm of supremely refined dw-link rear suspension, full carbon fiber chassis, 60Nm FAZUA motor and a 430Wh battery. In other words, really damn light. This lack of mass was unimaginable in an e-mtb until now. The Shuttle SL is a solid 10lbs\/4.5Kg lighter than most full power e-bikes, and about the same weight as most unassisted trail bikes. A 60Nm FAZUA motor nestled in the downtube provides added punch to your ride, giving you the power to smash climbs and the pop for bigger moves, letting you ride farther, better, and faster everywhere. The motor and battery are situated low and close to the center of mass – a key aspect of the Shuttle SL\u2019s dynamic handling. When the motor is not being called on to assist, it disengages completely from the rider\u2019s inputs, resulting in a totally silent and smooth pedaling experience that doesn\u2019t rob you of any wattage. Pivot\u2019s proprietary carbon fiber construction is integral to the Shuttle SL\u2019s light weight and taut handling. The dw-link suspension kinematics are perfectly adapted to provide plush compliance and efficient pedaling, lots of pop for dynamic riding, and enough progression to swallow big hits at high speed. We slackened the head angle back a touch compared to our Trail 429 and incorporated size-specific chainstays in order to retain consistent intuitive handling across the whole spectrum of rider heights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Shuttle SL\u2019s absence of mass makes possible a whole new way of riding trail; with four different ideal builds, there is plenty of room to interpret exactly how you want to take advantage of the Shuttle SL\u2019s incredibly low weight; move swift and silent through the singletrack or stomp bigger lines and harder hits. Our range topping World Cup spec focuses on the lightest weight end of the spectrum, featuring a 140mm Fox 34 fork, DPS rear shock and carbon dropper post. The Team, Pro and Ride level build feature a 150mm Fox 36 fork and a Float X rear shock. However you choose to ride, the Shuttle SL gives you more of everything you love about mountain biking.
