The helmet specialist ABUS is an official partner of the Red Bull District Ride 2022, which is part of the FMB World Tour as a Diamond Event. The traditional German brand from Wetter (Ruhr) will be supporting the World’s largest urban slopestyle event, taking place in Nuremberg’s Old Town on September 2nd and 3rd after a five-year hiatus. Organizers expect more than 80,000 spectators taking in the breath-taking scenery and ground-breaking riding. ABUS will be on site with athletes Lucas “Huppi” Huppert, Tom Isted, Gabriel Wibmer and Gravity legend Cedric Gracia, among others, to present the new AIRDROP full-face helmet.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The world’s\u00a0largest urban mountain bike event will be taking place for the sixth time in the Franconian city, and of course, the protection experts from ABUS will be there to represent as an official partner.\u00a0 When the 15 world\u2019s best MTB slopestyle riders compete on Saturday, ABUS will be represented on the 700-meter-long course by Swiss slopestyle ace Lucas (Huppi) Huppert who is the latest addition to the ABUS Gravity Team. The young rider from Zurich is coming off a strong fifth place finish at the legendary Red Bull Joyride in Whistler, and will no doubt be looking to back up his performance at District Ride. In addition to Huppert\u2019s representation for ABUS, all riders will pass the “ABUS Bridge”, which connects Districts 3 and 4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Red Bull District Ride is the perfect place to demonstrate the quality of the new ABUS MTB helmets. The traditional brand from North Rhine-Westphalia will present its new mountain bike full-face helmet, the AIRDROP, as well as the high-end enduro helmet, the CLIFFHANGER. A limited edition version of their iconic slopestyle model SKURB will also be unveiled in a special Red Bull District Ride design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An autograph session is planned on Friday before the Best Trick Contest.
