Under optimal conditions, the competition was moved from 4pm to 10am due to forecasted afternoon winds, the 35,000 spectators on site and viewers online at Red Bul TV were treated to an incredible display of skill and bravery from the riders.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" src=\"https:\/\/43ride.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2024\/07\/crankworxwhistler-2024-redbulljoyride-ctrahan-dawidgodziek2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9931\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Dawid Godziek \/ photo: Clint Trahan<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-very-light-gray-background-color has-background\">Red Bull Joyride<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">David Godziek from Poland made history by securing the esteemed Triple Crown of Slopestyle title after winning three Crankworx FMBA Slopestyle World Championship (SWC) events. Godziek, who won his first ever SWC gold medal earlier this year at the Crankworx Cairns Slopestyle, delivered a clean, awe-inspiring second run, scoring 96.6 points, after going down on the last feature in his first run. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" src=\"https:\/\/43ride.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2024\/07\/crankworxwhistler-2024-redbulljoyride-wolis-dawidgodziek.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9935\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Dawid Godziek \/ photo: Bartek Woli\u0144ski, Red Bull Content Pool<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tim Bringer, who earned a strong 94.4 in his first run but crashed in his second, took home the silver medal, while Max Fredriksson from Sweden, the only male athlete who made it down the course without a crash in today\u2019s competition, returned after a difficult year dealing with injuries to secure bronze.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" src=\"https:\/\/43ride.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2024\/07\/crankworxwhistler-2024-redbulljoyride-masonmashon-timbringer.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9932\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Timothe Bringer \/ photo: Mason Mashon, Red Bull Content Pool<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the women\u2019s competition, prodigy Alma Wiggberg repeated her victory from Crankworx Cairns, scoring 89.4 points with a variety of skills and aerial prowess. Additionally, Emil Johansson, who won the Triple Crown of Slopestyle for the past three years in a row, had to withdraw from the competition this morning due to a crash in practice.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1280\" height=\"854\" src=\"https:\/\/43ride.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2024\/07\/crankworxwhistler-2024-redbulljoyride-robperry-emiljohansson.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9933\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Emil Johansson \/ photo: Rob Perry<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Despite the great conditions and riders referring to the course being \u201cthe best Slopestyle course they have ever ridden\u201d earlier this week, many riders, including Tom Isted, Max Langille, and Harriet Burbidge-Smith, were unable to complete their runs.
