This fun-filled event was full of intense racing, with riders pushing their speed, flow, and power to the limits in a head-to-head style competition. After some fierce battles, Jordy Scott and the newly crowned King of Crankworx, Ryan Gilchrist, emerged as the winners of this year\u2019s Ultimate Pump Track Challenge.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" src=\"https:\/\/43ride.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2024\/07\/crankworxwhistler-2024-pumptrack-ctrahan-ryangilchrist.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9939\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Ryan Gilchrist \/ photo: Clint Trahan<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-very-light-gray-background-color has-background\">Ultimate Pump Track Challenge<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tommy Zula, who beat Tuhoto-Ariki Pene in semifinals, fought hard against Ryan Gilchrist in the final two runs. Ultimately, Gilchrist emerged victorious, being the only rider today to clock in at under 12 seconds on the demanding Pump Track course. In the small final, Niels Bensink repeated his bronze medal placement from Crankworx Rotorua earlier this year, demonstrating his consistent performance.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" src=\"https:\/\/43ride.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2024\/07\/crankworxwhistler-2024-pumptrack-ctrahan-scotthines.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9940\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Jordy Scott vs Kialani Hines \/ photo: Clint Trahan<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the women\u2019s side, Kialani Hines and Jordy Scott faced off in the gold medal matchup. Scott put down a faster time than Hines, who took home the silver medal. In the battle for bronze, newly crowned Queen of Crankworx Martha Gill was defeated by Dani Johnson, who earned her first-ever Crankworx medal, rounding out an all-US women\u2019s podium. With today\u2019s victories, Ryan Gilchrist, who has taken home three gold and one silver medal, and Jordy Scott, who has earned three gold and one bronze medal at this year\u2019s four Crankworx Pump Track Challenge events, dominated the discipline.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With the King &amp; Queen of Crankworx rankings determined early after last night\u2019s Outdoor Research Speed &amp; Style, the stakes were lower for the contenders, creating a relaxed and celebratory atmosphere for athletes and spectators alike.
