The first round of 2015’s Bluegrass Enduro Tour kicks off this weekend in what looks like a very snowy Glencoe. The world’s only international ‘blind‘ racing event, the race is a real challenge for any rider, snow or not. With no practice or opportunity to walk the course, the Bluegrass Enduro Tour takes the discipline back to its grass roots allowing riders to put their skills and intuition to the ultimate test.
Entry to the race includes a £1 donation to the Qhubeka charity program, with every £1 donated matched by sponsors MET.
Part of the World Bicycle Relief in South Africa, Qhubeka helps people to move forward and progress by giving bicycles in return for work done to improve communities, the environment or academic results. Having a bicycle changes lives by increasing the distance people can travel, what they can carry, where they can go and how fast they can get there.
The Bluegrass Enduro Tour 2015 at Glencoe Mountain Resort will be the only Enduro in the UK with uplift and a final stage mass start that will provide an extra challenge for those determined to podium.
