From the Mediterrenean Sea and the high alpine terrain of Sölden, stop #3 today in Reschen was as spectacular as the ones before but with another highlight: one race in three different countries. The racetrack led the riders through Austria, Switzerland and Italy, on four gondolas and six stages with a total length of 53 km. From flow trails to rooty and rocky parts, the bikers raced at their highest level. In between, views of the picturesque lake completed the fantastic atmosphere, but the racers had not the chance to enjoy the view, as stage 6 was the one for the showdown – steep, rooty and thick, dark forest.
