After an exciting first edition, the 4-day adventure at the foot of the Monviso returns also in 2020!
After a few days of rest with the head already projected to look for new routes, fix bureaucratic issues, look for new sponsors and interesting news, we can officially announce that the Trans Varaita 2020 will be held from 20 to 23 August!
Right from the start we had the certainty that we wanted to relive what was a fantastic adventure for riders, marchals and organizers. An adventure, even before being a race! Four days in one of the most beautiful valleys of the Cozie Alps on different paths every day, passing from the chestnut woods of the hills to the bare slopes at high altitude. Fantastic sceneries, in the presence of Monviso that in this edition has never even been granted a photograph. Four days of real enduro, with secret PS for everyone, where you can test your skills and rediscover the charm of driving “on sight” and portage, all while enjoying the local cuisine and sharing the pleasure of a beer signed Antagonisti at the end of the day!
The first Italian MTB adventure enduro returns with 4 completely revised stages: the locations will be the same as in 2019, but all the PS will be changed and will be secret until the day of the race. In 2019 the riders traveled 7 PS (of which 1 at night) with 5000 m. D + in 4 days and about 100 km. For 2020 9 PS are scheduled with one more night than in 2019!
A real rally that allows you to face a unique challenge: push to the max, if you love the time trial or give breath to your Decubertian spirit trying to have fun at the maximum and complete a beautiful adventure. Whether you are an avid competitor or who participates to earn your beer at the end of the day, you certainly cannot miss this event.
Every evening after the stage a party where to share impressions and experiences, sipping fabulous craft beers of the Varaita Valley.
Included in the registration is free mechanical assistance in the paddock area. Many innovations are coming and for those who register before Christmas there will be the possibility of being drawn to test some products for the entire duration of the race.
