Join two World Champion mountain bikers in “Ride with the Swedes” as they travel the world, compete at the highest level and enjoy riding with friends. Martin Söderström and Emil Johannson are recognized as two of the best mountain bikers in the world and with this six-episode-series on Red Bull TV, you’ll have the chance to look into what it takes to ride and compete at the highest level.
For a country with a population of just about 10 million, Sweden is producing a number of exceptional freeride mountain bikers. In order to better understand what is happening in this Scandinavian country to produce such talent, Ride with the Swedes embeds the viewer with these two legends of the sport over the course of a year, offering full access in their world travels.
Follow the duo as they head to the opening of the season in New Zealand where they’re able to shred new trails. We join Martin at the Åre Bike Park as they create the video submission for the film festival and later Emil at the Audi Nines.
Another highlight of the series is following Emil as he prepares himself and competes in the biggest mountain biking event in the world, Red Bull Rampage. Accompany him on the his trip to Utah as he builds the line he will ride, rides previous sites and gets mentally prepared for one of the most difficult lines he’s ever ridden.
To wrap the season up, join one of the biggest parties in Sweden as Emil and Martin head to Dirtking in Sweden. From big trains to lake jumps, you won’t want to miss the fun of the final episode.
