A little over two years ago the young prodigy from Osttirol, Austria, Gabriel Wibmer, released his biggest project to the date Late for School. After the extremely positive response to his first video and nearly 13 million views, Gabriel is back with part two. Late for School 2 shows Gabriel’s MTB skills in some beautiful Austrian locations. Riding the newly released 2022 Canyon Torque, Gabriel sends it in his own style to get to school on time.

Created with his cousin Stephan Wibmer the video takes us through Gabriel’s home region of Osttirol, then onto the medieval city center of Graz and Austria’s capital, Vienna with beautiful drone shots of iconic locations:

Urban riding, sending stairs, gaps, flips, beautiful drone shots; it was busy but really fun time. I’m stoked to have finally finished the second part of Late for School, and I’m pleased to have been able to make something, both me and my cousin Stephan are so proud of. It wasn’t always easy, especially when it came to riding with injuries after some big crashes, but in the end I think it really paid off and I hope others enjoy it too.

The new Torque lineup has been built to be as versatile as possible, with Canyon providing options in both frame material and wheel size to make sure there’s a Torque to fit the needs of practically every rider, looking for a longer-travel machine. Gabriel rode the Torque 27.5 AL Model available exclusively from canyon.com

It has been amazing to watch Gabriel jump straight into the partnership with Canyon during his first year. Riding everything from DH World Cups to EMTB’s and Street, Gabriel’s motivation and passion for all things MTB is on another level. We are proud to support this second incarnation of Late for School- which, thanks to the hard work put in by G and Stephan, turned out to be an awesome edit. Enjoy!
