The Cannondale Alpine Bikes World Enduro will be remembered for two things – the wild weather of the Tweed Valley, Scotland and the charge of Trek. The 600 riders faced every kind of weather imaginable in the last five days; sunshine, hail stones and even gale force winds. Few weeks ago WTB released a new 27.5” tread pattern called the Riddler 2.4 tire during day one of the Subaru Sea Otter Classic bicycle festival. The fourth and unfortunately also the last day of the iXS Dirt Masters Festival completely focused on the iXS German Downhill Cup. In their final runs, Nick Beer and Kim Schwemmer were the fastest riders of their respective categories and took home the title. It was the first time for Kranjska Gora to host a race of the iXS European Downhill Cup, but it seemed to be a perfect fit! In the end, Johannes Fischbach und Carina Cappellari dominated the field of more than 400 riders from 24 different countries. Actually the first EDC race of the season was scheduled to take place in Maribor.
