This year was such a good winter season for biking and we probably made the most of it. I think I have never ridden that much my MTB in winter in my entire life than this winter. With my buddies Eliott and Michou from Les Vosges, we decided to create and to dig a new line for our big bikes also fun to ride. I grew up there and I had this line in my mind for a little while. In 2013 Makken joined up with the infamous Hillbilly Huckfest, and together with professional skier, Aasmund Thorsen, they buildt a Freeride track the way they want a freeride track to be buildt. Makken invited some of his friends around the world, and for a week they rode what Makken claims to be the funnest course ever. In the wake of the Hillbilly Huckfest, he claims that more riders are putting on their own events, based on the simple idea: Big BIkes, Big Jumps, and lots of speed.

Fast. It’s the first word that comes to mind when you see Morgane riding her new Evil bike! We had the luck to meet the stunning Morgane Charre in Queenstown during her training for the World Cup and we managed to edit a short video one afternoon in between her busy schedule. It was amazing to see her riding easily the steepest trails of Queenstown Bike Park. This year she will rides for CK Racing team, she can’t wait to start the races and we are excited to cheer for her during this season!
