Italy is an ideal destination if you want to combine holidays with a good enduro ride. There are plenty of interesting places full of amazing trails. As a fan of exploring these slightly less known places, I became interested in Elba island. The dense network of trails that showed Trailforks and great weather already in May sounded promising. On the spot, it turned out that there are so much trails that I will divide my report from Elba into 2 articles. Today I invite you to the eastern part of the island, the Elba Trail Area.

Natisone Bike Arena is a project that connects trails in the Natisone river region into one big trail center. This little-known corner of north-eastern Italy hides a whole network of well-prepared natural style enduro trails. The bigest highlight of the region is the almost 12-kilometer enduro trail “749” from the top of Matajur, formerly known as Matadown. An interesting fact is that most of the trails can be ridden here all year round. Intrigued? I invite you to the trail report from the Natisone Bike Arena.

In 2022 I spent over a month in Athens and of course I took my bike with me there. Great Days is an interesting festival organized every year in Carosello 3000 Livigno. It is an event focused on spending great time on bikes and after them, but without unnecessary pressure that usualy comes in with traditional biking competitions.
