Munich, August 14th 2014 – Whistler is preparing to welcome the world for round two of the FMB Diamond Series. As one of the biggest events on the calendar – the rider line up is stacked, the course is dialed and the atmosphere is buzzing! You can tune in for all the action live on Redbull.com/bike and www.fmbworldtour.com on August 16th from 4:30pm PST / August 17th 1:30am CET.

After an epic competition at the first round of the FMB Diamond Series at Crankworx Les 2 Alpes – the pressure is on to catch young Anthony Messere who leads the standings. His awesome first place victory was a long time coming. Anthony is no stranger to Red Bull Joyride – he took home a solid 3rd place back in 2011. Will this year be his year to stand tall on the podium once again? Obviously – eyes will be set on rivals, Semenuk and Rheeder, as they take to the dirt after not performing as well as expected in France earlier in June. Thomas Genon, who won Red Bull Joyride in 2012 is demonstrating top form this season. He has had numerous podiums already and is currently 2nd in the FMB Diamond Series standings. FMB icon, Martin Soderstrom is out of the battle after sustaining a foot fracture at CITY8 in Quebec a couple weeks ago. The truth is, the line up is stacked and the only way to find out who will win is to tune in live to witness the action. You can watch it live on Redbull.com/bike and www.fmbworldtour.com .
