The spectators of Crankworx Innsbruck saw many a Speed & Style legends throw down on the course at Bike Park Innsbruck. This course features long straightaways and two big trick jumps, favouring the stylers more than the speed racers.
We saw Speed & Style powerhouses Robin Goomes and Tomas Lemoine sealing the legacy and taking the gold medal for women and men, respectively. Goomes shared the gold-medal match-up run with her best mate and training partner, with Red Bull rider Harriet Burbidge-Smith who came home with the silver medal. American slopestyle legends dominated the rest of the podium steps with Shealen Reno taking the bronze for women, and David Lieb and Garret Mechem rounding out second and third place for men. It was a first Crankworx podium moment for both David Lieb and Shealen Reno.
