Flat Out Days is one of the biggest bike events held in Slovenia. However, it isn’t typical racing or trade event. It is focused completely on simply having good time on the bike and also after biking. In 2025, the festival took place in a completely new location. It main attractions were a network of freshly built trails and aerial shows on some of the largest jumps in Europe during the Slovenian edition of the FEST Series. Below You can find our short report, from this amazing event.

Flat Out Days – What is all about?
The idea for an event focused specifically on freeride biking was born in 2017. Back then, the team organized the Slovenian Whip Championships on a one big jump. Following a positive feedback from riders, the one-day Flat Out event was created in 2018. In following years it evolved into the multi-day Flat Out Days festival. The 2025 edition was stretched to 7 full days of biking fun. The main attraction is that sessions from the world’s FEST Series are held every afternoon. This guarantees the presence of some of the best freeriders in the world. However, Flat Out Days event is not just for the pro’s. During the day, everyone can ride on excesive network of new bike park trails. Also there are held some exciting additional competitions, such as the Braap Challenge, RAW Dual Slalom, Scrub Off, or PitStop Pumptrack. There’s also plenty of other attractions, such as morning yoga sessions, different concerts every evening, and crazy beer pong competitions. There aren’t any huge trade fairs or exhibitions here, just a few smaller stands from event partners. Everything takes place in a very positive, relaxed and stress-free atmosphere.

Flat Out Days x Bike Park Kope
The Flat Out Days festival in earlier years took place in other locations, but the 2025 season was a breakthrough. Festival organizers, who work closely with the Batt Crew team, have become part of the project to build new version of Kope Bike Park. While the small bike park already worked here before, this collaboration is taking the place to a completely new level. A full article on the new Kope Bike Park Trails will be available on 43ride site soon. And there’s plenty to write about it, as the entire project involves the construction of 14 new trails of varying character and difficulty. All of them along 5 different lifts. When fully completed, it will be one of the largest bike parks in Slovenia and in this part of Europe. I’ll also add that I’ve personally ridden before, several trails created by the Batt Crew team, and they truly know what flow is all about. Both jump lines and also more natural trails were really fun to ride. As the organizers themselves announced, the Flat Out Days festival has found a new home in Kope. The festival concept, along with additional trails, will undoubtedly be developed here in the coming years.

Flat Out Days 2025
The 2025 festival took place in the second half of July. The Batt Crew faced the enormous task of building a completely new bike park in less than a year, and also building and refining a line of massive jumps for the Fest Sessions. Ultimately, 12 trails were available for all riders, plus the gigantic jumps for the invited professional freeriders. Unfortunately, despite it being the middle of the summer season, the weather didn’t quite cooperate, and several torrential downpours occurred before and during the time of festival. It made difficult to maintain the freshly built structures. Despite this the “regular” trails held up well under the wheels of riders. Unfortunately, the largest FEST Series line, despite the builders’ constant work, was too much of a challenge. Ultimately, riders could fly safely only the first of biggest jumps. However, everyone was having really good time especially that full “Hammer Line” was opened fully. Many of riders declared it the best jumpline they had ever ridden. The “toilet bowl” and the final jump also offered plenty of airtime and great fun. Ultimately, no one complained of being bored.

The Flat Out Days festival’s atmosphere was also enhaced by the location of the Kope Bike Park. It’s located far from the big cities, in the middle of a charming forest, with beautiful views all around. To ensure every participant could experience the festival to its fullest, the organizers prepared various packages, including on-site accommodations. There arent much Hotels or rooms in the area of Kope resort, so the large winter parking lots, were converted into fully equipped campsites for bikers. You can easily to wake up in the morning basicaly at the bike park area. You can ride, eat, drink, watch the world’s best freeriders show in the afternoon, and then sit by the campfire and enjoy various concerts. All this thru every of seven consecutive days, surrounded by enthusiastic people who had come from all over Europe and beyond! The vibes were amazing.
