Finally, it’s time again to go riding amongst passes and peaks in the Dolomites of Val di Fassa, deep into its breathtaking, unique scenery.
FassaBike Park will open on Saturday 27 June, ready for you to hit the trails along some of the most popular lines of the Enduro World Series, as the iconic ridge of Col Rodella, queen stage for the round of the world series that took place here in 2019.
The lifts will be open as per usual, in accordance with current health standards and physical distancing. Therefore, fewer people will be sharing the same space simultaneously, but with more room available it will be easier to look around and enjoy the wonderful views during the uplift. The access to the lift is possible either with the park bikepass, but also with the SuperSummer.
Once at the top, the possibilities are really endless. In addition to the bike park, Val di Fassa is the gateway to great cycling tours, as the world-famous ‘SellaRonda’ around the Sella massif, and to less known high-altitude routes, at the ready thanks to the help of the FassaBike guides: an experience not to be missed, offering miles of trails and proper fun in view of famed mountains such as Marmolada – the queen of the Dolomites – and other peaks perhaps less known but equally great. And at the end you’ll be able to choose your favourite!
Val di Fassa big events have been postponed until 2021, but this forced break will not have the resort stay put. It will instead offer an incentive, the opportunity to bring forward projects that will be important in the future, including some new mtb lines that are already in the pipeline, and some other initiatives, as the training camp of pro team at San Pellegrino Pass – Deceuninck-Quick Step team – planned for the period between 6 and 23 July. And a lot more that will be communicated later on.
In Val di Fassa the choices for bike lovers are really endless, and the little ones will be happy too, thanks to two skill parks, a pump track and a very long cycle path that runs along Avisio river: pretty much everything they may dream of, when it comes to playing with their bikes and growing with them.
