The Gravity Card bike parks and regions are looking back on a very successful 2021 season. Like in previous years, the Gravity Card managed to improve on what was already a very successful 2020 season, confirming that the concept of a ‘European bikepark season ticket’ is more than welcome among the mountain bike community. A successful summer in the books and the addition of another bikepark to the club is reason for celebration but not for rest. The Gravity Card team is already working on expanding its offer for the 2022 season and is happy to announce that two more regions have joined, offering even more variety and trails to mountain bikers in Europe.

Ranging from the bike parks in Willingen and Winterberg (both Germany) in the north, to those in Krvavec and Kranjska Gora (both Slovenia) in the south, the Bike Kingdom Lenzerheide (Switzerland) in the west and Semmering (Austria) and Maribor (Slovenia) in the east, the group of Gravity Card bike parks has now grown to 22 bike parks in six countries featuring a total of more than 175 trails. Further members include one of Europe’s oldest bike parks, the Epic Bikepark Leogang, the family region of Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis and the Enduro Eldorado of Reschenpass on the border of Switzerland, Italy and Austria as well as many more classic mountain bike destinations throughout the Alps and beyond. New for 2021 and seamlessly integrating into the Gravity Card was Kitzski Bike Trails in Austria with its four bike trails.

Following the trend of the previous years, the Gravity Card didn’t just expand its number of bike parks, regions and trails but also increased the number of riders.

We are very happy with the 2021 season – especially considering how challenging the external factors and travel restrictions have been for tourism regions across Europe and the world. The ever-growing number of Gravity Card users reaffirms us in our opinion that mountain biking is a healthy, growing and fun sport that has also grown to become a major factor for tourism. More importantly, it also proves that the concept of a single season ticket uniting a large number of Europe’s best bike destinations is welcomed by the mountain bike community. Adding Bikepark Lienz in East Tyrol and Bikepark Paganella in Italy’s Trentino region means that we have two more great additions waiting to be explored by Gravity Card users in 2022.

The addition of Bikepark Lienz and Dolomiti Paganella Bike to the Gravity Card adds even more variety and trails to the already stacked line-up of Gravity Card bike parks. Bikepark Lienz has flown somewhat under the radar in recent years but has grown to become a true hidden gem thanks to 11.6 kilometers of shaped trails featuring tons of flow and plenty of airtime on trails like the “Peter-Sagan-Trail”, “Alban-Lakata-Trail”, “Welcome to the Jungle” and “Family-Flow-Trail”. Paganella on the other hand needs little introduction. Connecting three different bike areas around the picturesque Lake Molveno with a trail network spanning over 400 kilometers in the heart of the Dolomites, Dolomiti Paganella Bike is a dream-come-true destination for mountain bikers.
