2016’s bike season introduces some new faces to ION’s international team: Italian dirt & slopestyle riders Torquato Testa and Diego Caverzasi, formerly riding for ION Italy, will now join the international team. On top of that, ION partners with the Yeti / Fox Shox Factory Racing Team including the 2015 EWS World Champion Richie Rude.

The collaboration between ION and Yeti sees a three-years-partnership to support the Yeti / Fox Shox Factory Racing Team with ION protective gear. This engagement as official protection sponsor embraces both national and international riders of the Yeti team – including Cody Kelley and the 2015 EWS World Champion Richie Rude.

Torquato Testa
Apart from that ION invited two riders of the Italian national team to be part of the group of athletes forming ION’s international team: Torquato Testa (22) and Diego Caverzasi (21). The two Italian friends had an impressive 2015 season that culminated in two events: Torquato threw a spectacular run at Crankworx in Whistler that – unfortunately – did not end as expected but definitely attracted some attention. Diego won the Castle Section at the Nine Knights in Livigno, Italy. Both, Diego and Toto will exclusively ride with and in ION bike wear and protective gear.
