He comes from Belgium, is the reigning FMB World Champion and is part of the Canyon Factory Freeride Team: Thomas Genon is known for keeping a cool head during his contest runs and sending the sickest tricks on the World Tour. But who is this guy? What keeps him going and where are his favorite spots? Filmmaker Harrison Mendel has been looking for answers and presents them in Thomas’ new clip “This Is Home” created by Shimano.

I have wanted to create my own video for a long, long time now, but I just never had the opportunity. When Shimano told me about their idea for “This Is Home”, I was on board right away. Filming was loads of fun and it was great to experience the process first-hand. The film shows the spots I love to ride and what my life is like right now.
