This story was beginning at the Roc d ‘azur in October ,we check for a good place for a trip of 2 or 3 days in November , we are French and we are living in the North of France. After a discussion with the representants of the Morvan , we decide to go here because this place is only at 3 hours of Paris and the nature, the trails were very nice and the people are very motivate to develop mountain trails for enduro and tehnical x-country.
After a good evening and a good night in a Hotel in the middle of the nature ,we check the maps with a breakfast at the fireside to find the better trails with our guide Seb Oppin .
We decide that the first day, we ride the enduro trails because the staff do a very good work with different difficulties of enduro and downhill trails and you can go up with the Shuttle (there are a lot days organised all the years with these Shuttle ,informations below ).
It ‘s very interesting because it ‘s only some little hills but the mountain bike staff is very creative to find the best lines with sometimes some modules but this is like you ride a natural trail which is perfectly integrated to the nature .
So after a big day of ride , we can say that the Morvan is very good enduro/ downhill spot !
Good evening with tradionnal food and good plans for the second day , we ‘ll wake up early to see the sunrise !
Hard to wake up but incredible light in the autumn colors is the recompense, we are some happy people , the second day is an all mountain ride day with our guide
The colors are amazing and the lights between the trees give a mystic atmosphère ,we ride some single tracks with good grip and good flow , many different people with different level can ride these trails .
We do a lot of stop to see this nice nature like this cascade …
So we can say that the Morvan is a real good aventure , I think the good word to describe this place and the ride is ” authentic”
