The advantage of riding on cold winter days: the trail is yours alone. For support in colder temperatures, ION’s AERIAL & RADIANT insulation jackets have Primaloft Silver linings that will keep you warm on even the frostiest rides. Thermo_Mapping prevents you from overheating when running at operating temperature. The front has a Primaloft fill to protect exposed areas against the wind and the cold.
ION Insulation Jacket Aerial & Radial
The sleeves block out the wind and the back is made from brushed Technostretch fleece to let heat escape. No need to say that this also works for after-ride gatherings… On the front, the sleeves and the lower back, a durable water repellency treatment protects from rain showers, while the Wind_Hater on front, sleeves and base fights wind chill. With two zipper pockets for keys or a phone. Thumb_Holes, Reflective_Details, Adjustable_Hood round off things nicely.

ION‘s Shell Jacket Vario (and the ladies version Cosmic) withstands severe weather. The waterproof 2.5 layer bike jacket with fully taped seams and YKK waterproof zippers holds off pouring rain and offers good breathability at the same time. A bike-specific cut makes the Vario a perfect jacket for those rainy and cold days on and off the bike. It features a helmet ready 3_Point_Hood regulation to also shelter your head from the rain. Although these waterproof shell pants come in men‘s colorway only, it is a unisex style with a size range from XS to XXL. Similar to the Shell Jacket Vario the Slush is made of elastic 2way_Stretch material. For easy on & off ION equips these pants with zipper openings sideways from the lower end up to the thighs. You will love this feature when escaping from the cloudburst and you don‘t want to drag all that mud and dirt into your car, house or appartment.

The Pant Collision (or the Pant Impact for gents) is the right counterpart to complete this outfit: These softshell pants come in a mix of polyester, polyamid & elasthane offering very good protection from cold winds and humidity. And: It even holds of rain showers. The pants‘ waist offers ajustable Waist_Regulation for a perfect fit. Zippered vent openings on the sides allow for extra ventilation in the uphill. Back and lower legs are equipped with additional polyamid reinforcements for improved abrasion resistance. The zippers at the leg endings ensure easy on & off while the velcro straps prevent the contact to tyres and the chain.
