Alpinestars today announced its latest short video, “Desert Blossoms,” a shoot filmed in the Utah desert with three new team athletes and a look at some of the latest mountain bike clothing, gear, and protection from the Spring 2022 line. The Team expands for 2022, introducing Freeride riders Ryan McNulty, brothers Aidan Howe and Asa Howe, and Dakoda Osusky.

Inspired by the company’s namesake, the perennial Alpine star flower, “Desert Blossoms” celebrates the launch of the Spring 2022 Mountain Bike line and three of the four athletes. The video was shot in southern Utah, the home base for Ryan and Dakoda. Aidan also joined the shoot from his home base in Durango, Colorado. The riders are wearing clothing, gear, and protection from the Spring 2022 MTB line, including Techstar v2 Pants, Racer v3 Jersey, Racer Pants, and the Missile Tech Helmet.

The Missile Tech Helmet has high-tech features for the most extreme terrain. Side waist adjustments for a custom fit, a silicon finish on the inner waist area to prevent sliding, and ribbed stretch panels provide increased comfort and riding flexibility.

The Techstar v2 Pants are a multi-panel performance mountain bike pant, ergonomically profiled and constructed from reinforced poly-fabric for abrasion resistance and stretch mesh for optimized levels of fit, comfort, and breathability. The pants also allow for the integration of knee protection and include mesh inserts on the back of the knee for breathability and range of motion. A micro-ratchet waist regulation with a buckle for a customized fit and laser cut front and side vents provide a comfortable, performance fit.
