fizik continues its adventure with GORE-TEX. A year after launching the TEMPO ARTICA GTX and TERRA ARTICA GTX models, the Italian shoe and saddle brand presents the ERGOLACE GTX model this fall. These new shoes are ideal for short or long ride-outs in wet weather, keeping your feet warm and – above all – dry during the fall and winter months. A second model for even colder days will be presented at the end of October.
fizik expands its range of mountain bike footwear for riding in colder and more humid conditions. For its latest model the Italian bike shoe manufacturer collaborates again with the membrane specialist, GORE-TEX. The result, the brand-new fizik ERGOLACE GTX, is versatile and suitable for all types of mountain biking, especially trail riding, but also cites gravel and bike packing as the main disciplines. The semi-permeable, three-layer PRISM 3L membrane is 100 percent impermeable to the elements outside, while allowing moisture and condensed sweat to pass the membrane from the inside – resulting in a dry and comfortable climate.
Ready for the rough stuff, the hardwearing upper made of woven ripstop fabric resists abrasion and tearing while a PU-laminated toecap and side reinforcements add further protection and durability.
In addition to its GORE-TEX membrane, the fizik ERGOLACE GTX shoe is equipped with VIBRAM soles for improved grip and available for flat as well as clipless pedals, making it a good choice for any bike & hike moments. For additional comfort, the shoe’s ergonomic structure perfectly envelops the foot and secures the fit with its smart lacing system.
As for every model, fizik designed the silhouette specifically to reduce bulk and avoid the puffy look of many mountain bike shoes, meaning the fizik ERGOLACE GTX is ready to blend in with civilization when backcountry missions are over.
The combination of the GORE-TEX membrane and fizik’s specific design makes the ERGOLACE GTX models unique on the market. This durable mountain bike shoe truly lives up to the 2022-initiated motto “for good rides in bad weather”.
The new model is available in two colors (black/anthracite and black/white ice), with sizes EU ranging from 36 to 48.
