Austria couldn’t have asked for a better result in the final event of Crankworx Innsbruck 2020. The top of the pro podium was shared by two Austrians: David Trummer crossed the finish line fastest for the men with a 2:49.08, while Valentina ‘Vali’ Höll bested the pro women’s field with her 3:12.13. For Höll, this is her second win in the event, though 2018’s #1 came in the U19 category. With a win in today’s CLIF Speed & Style presented by GoPro, Tomas Lemoine snags his third medal in 24 hours, saving the best for last. Last night at 7:30 p.m. he fought his way onto the podium for a third place finish in the RockShox Innsbruck Pump Track Challenge. Adrien Loron and Morgane Charre kicked off the day with wins in the Dual Slalom, and the momentum continued in the RockShox Innsbruck Pump Track Challenge. Valentina ‘Vali’ Höll is looking forward to the start of the shortened 2020 race calendar. The Austrian will start her season in the Downhill race at the Crankworx World Tour in Innsbruck on October 4 before turning her attention to the World Championships in her home country resort of Leogang between October 7-11.  Höll, who has now finished her school studies, will also compete in the senior category of the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup at the stops in Maribor and Lousã after dominating the junior scene the last two seasons.
