The Slopestyle Super League (SSL) was built to create new pathways to the highest level of the sport for both athletes and event organizers. One season in, that mission is already paying off.
On September 7, the SSL’s inaugural champions will be crowned at Crankworx Mont-Sainte-Anne, in a winner-takes-all finals that puts the Regular Season’s standouts on the same start ramp as the riders who fought their way through the Playoffs to get there. Looking at the field assembled for that finals, the first SSL season is a clear success: established icons of the sport will line up alongside a wave of new talent that has spent the year shaking up the rankings.
The top three men and top two women in the SSL Regular Season standings pre-qualified for the finals. Everyone else earned their place at Crankworx SilverStar Slopestyle presented by Signature – the SSL’s official Playoffs – where SSL points didn’t count for anything, but finishing inside the top seven men or top three women punched a ticket to Mont-Sainte-Anne.
Women’s Confirmed Riders
Pre-Qualified Through Regular Season
- Johanna Nussbaumer (GER), the 2025 Red Bull Rookie of the Year, is having a breakout debut season at the sport’s highest level, winning the first two Diamond level events she ever entered: the Crankworx Rotorua Slopestyle in Memory of McGazza and Rhapsody Slopestyle, earning her bye through to the inaugural SSL Finals.
- Shealen Reno (USA) claimed the SSL’s Regular Season points title through remarkable consistency including gold at Christchurch, bronze at Rotorua and silver at Rhapsody Slopestyle Whistler.
Qualified Through Playoffs
- Alma Wiggberg (SWE), the first woman ever to win Red Bull Joyride (2024 and 2025), returned from injury for a late start to her season, contesting just three of five Regular Season stops. But two golds – at Red Bull District Ride and Birell BikeFest – were enough to reach the Playoffs, where she won at the SilverStar Slopestyle presented by Signature and qualified for the SSL Finals.
- Lisa-Marie Blanc (FRA) has been a fixture at the sport’s highest level in the women’s inaugural season in 2024, but injuries forced her to sit out Diamond level events in 2025. She’s back, taking silver at SilverStar to book her spot in the finals.
- Michelle Neuner (SUI) rounded out the Playoffs podium in bronze on her first-ever Crankworx start. The SSL Finals will be her first-ever Diamond level event.
Men’s Confirmed Riders
Pre-Qualified Through Regular Season
- David Godziek (POL) arrives at Mont-Sainte-Anne as the man to beat. The 2024 Slopestyle World Champion topped the SSL Regular Season standings with wins at the Rhapsody Slopestyle and the Crankworx Slopestyle in Memory of McGazza in Rotorua.
- Chance Moore (CAN) punched his bye as the runner-up at the end of the Regular Season, anchored by a win at Birell Bikefest in Kalnica and the fifth place result that sealed his bye at Rhapsody Slopestyle.
- Nicholi Rogatkin (USA) secured his spot as third overall in the Regular Season, built on consistency: three third-place finishes at Crankworx Christchurch, Rotorua and Birell Slopestyle.
Qualified Through Playoffs
- Ben Thompson (CAN) delivered his first-ever Crankworx win at the SSL Playoffs in SilverStar, a victory that sends him into the winner-takes-all finals with real momentum and confidence.
- Erik Fedko (GER) opened his season with gold at the Ōtautahi Slopestyle in Christchurch and backed it up with silver at the SilverStar Slopestyle presented by Signature to book his ticket to Mont-Sainte-Anne.
- Ayden Siebenaler (CAN) took bronze at SilverStar to seal qualification. The SSL Finals will be his first-ever Diamond level event.
- Lucas Huppert (SUI) put together a strong season, highlighted by silver at the Crankworx Rotorua Slopestyle in Memory of McGazza back in March.
- Jack Feick (CAN): in his first season competing at the sport’s highest level, qualifying for the finals is already a major achievement. He narrowly missed the podium at the Rhapsody Slopestyle at Crankworx Whistler.
- Dane Folpp (AUS), the 2025 Red Bull Rookie of the Year, has turned in a breakout campaign, headlined by silver at Rhapsody Slopestyle – beaten only by David Godziek.
- Axel Sparrman (SWE) is the field’s total wildcard. A rookie making his Crankworx debut at SilverStar, Sparrman qualified outright with a 7th-place finish. The SSL Finals will be his first-ever Diamond level event.
Crankworx Mont-Sainte-Anne
This iconic destination is the newest addition to the Crankworx calendar and arrives with a full spread of disciplines. Headlining the week is Downhill on the legendary MSA track – a course that has produced legends and iconic moments across three decades of racing. In true Crankworx fashion, the schedule also features Dual Slalom, the Official North American Whip-Off World Championships presented by RAG, Air DH presented by Velosolutions Canada on a brand-new track, Cross-Country, Kidsworx, and the parties fans and athletes have come to expect at Mont-Sainte-Anne.
The Slopestyle Super League Finals (September 5) and the Downhill (September 6) will be broadcast live and free on the Crankworx YouTube channel, with behind-the-scenes content shared with fans throughout the week at @crankworx.
