Designed for downhill, enduro, and aggressive trail riding, the SAINT PD-G8040 flat pedals sit at the top of SHIMANO’s flat pedal lineup. Drawing on SAINT’s gravity-focused heritage, these pedals feature an extra-wide, dual-concave platform that allows the rider’s shoe to settle naturally, providing a planted, controlled feel on steep, technical terrain.
SHIMANO’s flat platform design maximizes usable contact area, while a thin pedal profile improves ground clearance. Built with a reinforced alloy pedal body, composite skid plate, impact-resistant pins, and robust axle and bushing construction, the PD-G8040 is engineered to withstand repeated impacts and hard riding, season after season.
