The launch of the Fuzz was a huge milestone for NS. It was a complex project that proved to be a really serious challenge for our team. But looking back, we have to admit it was worth the effort, because it’s a f&^%# great bike! Flipped and whipped by Sam Pilgrim, successfully raced on the roughest DH tracks around the world by Sławek Łukasik and the SDS team. And as far as reliability is concerned, the Fuzz is nothing short of a legend!
The geometry is truly modern – it’s low, slack, has a tight rear end and a long front triangle. The suspension has a significant amount of rearward axle movement which helps to absorb square faced bumps. There is also a fair amount of anti-squat built into the design to counter pedal-induced bob. The shock, which is the most heavy part of the frame is tucked away near the BB to keep the centre of gravity as low as possible.
We’ve always developed our products in close cooperation with the riders. The Fuzz is no different in this matter. In the nearest future all our gravity projects will be under a big influence of NS Bikes Factory Racing team. The guys are super technical and know their game very well. During this season they will be testing 2018 prototypes. Can’t wait to see them on track!
